# There's 79 on my kitchen wall...
...and I don't like it because it's not an even number, nor a multiple of four

I would add an 80th tile, but that would mean i have to cut a hole in it for a pipe, which means it's not a full tile? So is it really the 80th tile if it's not complete?

Will i forever be plagued by an odd number of tiles asymmetrically placed upon my kitchen wall?

I will solve the problem eventually, but in the mean time, i will ponder over it every-time i wait for the kettle to boil and long after that point, sometimes well in to the night :D

That's just a short version of the thoughts i put in to my wall tile situation... Why did you have to set me off again? LOL... I'll be up for the next few hours working possible solutions out...

Hopefully i will be distracted by something else before bed...

EDIT: Good to see I'm not the only Aspie/HFA on here. Hello fellow Aspies :D

# Add that fourth tile...
... And then, instead of tile area, which is a rather unpleasing melancholic focus, hows about sides, or corners?! Then each tile (assuming you have regular people tiles :P) has within it a factor of 4. or, focus on both! Then you have 80 (a factor of 4) tiles, each with *4* sides, each with *4* corners... Then they only need to have an area or a dimension which is a factor of 4 and you have 4 factors of 4 within your tiles!

# Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you...
That's a logical way of getting round my problem. Feeling much better for that :D

# That's all well and good,
but as you have to cut a hole out of a tile, presumably there will actually be an extra, internal edge? Making a total of 5 surely....
