# I knew a few Dutch, Belgian, Swedish and Norwegian folk from World of Warcraft
they all seemed to know a lot about British culture and sub-culture as they can get BBC and they were mostly fascinated by 'Allo 'Allo and totally got the sense of humour involved.

and really didn't need to be translated. They especially liked the British spy/policeman one and often quoted him word for word, they loved it. They were also very fascinated by The Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies

I always thought the rank-and-file Germans (as opposed to the gestapo) were treated rather sympathetically in it, but I don't know whether they'd see it that way
