I use a number of tecniques
I sometimes import parts, some are scratch drawn from pics. It's all a bit of a mess really but people don't seem to mind the end result too much.

However, I also hear that on full automatic only the first 3 bullets will go anywhere near what you are aiming at.

Yeah, best keeping it on semi-auto if you want to hit anything.
The barrel is very unstable, I hear, and it tends to wobble quite a lot.
Still though, the design hasn't really changed all that much for 75 years, just goes to show how well it works in context.
