I saw your hideous dog story. A couple of days ago I saw something, and wanted to tell you. Words-
I see a grey haired man with a dog weaving across both lanes going up a steep part of road before my bike trail. His bike, an old cruiser with wild handlebars, and spray painted all rough. When I get to him, I see the dog has three legs. The man is about 80, and very friendly. I think Italian, by his obvious accent. He smiles at me and says bikes are one of the most beautiful inventions ever, plus no license, no insurance, no parking and that no one has improved on them. And that you probably lose around 4% for the "cogs". I said, and no global warming. Then I notice he is missing his right forefinger. Then he said, I'll race you up the hill. And we both pushed hard for about five seconds. Then I said I'm older than I look. And he said, I'm younger than I look. And he turned off just past the CCCCC trail area to where he lives. The whole time, his dog was racing about on just a tripod of legs, all happy.
