See whether there's an advocacy service in your area that can help you go to appeal, then tribunalI challenge Atos decisions as part of my job and so far haven't lost a tribunal. It's really rewarding helping restore benefits to scared, stressed people who have been left at their wits end by Atos. It is possible to to get the DWP to completely back down, if you know exactly how the Atos psychology/scoring system works.
While you are waiting for your hearing, she should continue to get the benefit at the pre-assessment rate. Good luck!
