Apologies for jacking off this thread.
I'd not seen this before.
www.listentothefuture.comMusic made entirely on keyboard, that's so futuristic, and not at all late-80s.

"Live in Harmony" is my favourite.
Just for the lyrics "tree, tree, tree, tree, tree, older scotch, older scotch, older scotch, tree, tree, tree... (etc.)" *
*This may not be entirely accurate.

I misread it
and thought it said "live in Hungary".
[edit: "Let the Music Loudly Play" is now one of my faourite song titles]
[edit2: I also just thought for a second he had a song called "Let's Get This Music Pumpkin"]

*whoop whoop*. your thread is being jacked.
does anyone have any idea how to draw tv interference lines? i've been trying for ages but i cant get it looking right. argh. help!
(

cheers for the suggestion
but i guess i should have been clearer. I guess i don'tmean interference, but an untuned tv set..
i'm talking about the grey white noise you get when the tvs not tuned, or the squiggly lines drawn in cartoon tv-sets.
(

If you just want noise
surely most image proggies have a "Noise" filter? Or am I missing something here?
(
prehensile, Mon 30 Jun 2003, 14:20,

but i'd really like to go for the cartoony look squiggkly lines thing.
nevermind i think i have an idea.
cheers anyhows
(
evilmango, Mon 30 Jun 2003, 14:25,

probably some noise
and then a wind or motion blur effect applied to it. just play around. or search for 'tv static tutorials'

ah! tv _static_

if it's wiggly lines you're after
(and you're in tattyshop), I just got some passable results drawing some thick black lines across an image, then using the Distort->Wave filter on 'em...
Yes, I am avoiding doing proper work
