# cheers for the suggestion
but i guess i should have been clearer. I guess i don'tmean interference, but an untuned tv set..

i'm talking about the grey white noise you get when the tvs not tuned, or the squiggly lines drawn in cartoon tv-sets.
(, Mon 30 Jun 2003, 14:14, archived)
# If you just want noise
surely most image proggies have a "Noise" filter? Or am I missing something here?
(, Mon 30 Jun 2003, 14:20, archived)
# but i'd really like to go for the cartoony look squiggkly lines thing.
nevermind i think i have an idea.

cheers anyhows

# probably some noise
and then a wind or motion blur effect applied to it. just play around. or search for 'tv static tutorials'
(, Mon 30 Jun 2003, 14:29, archived)
# ah! tv _static_
i couldn't remember the damn word! i think i might find what I need now. thanks.
(, Mon 30 Jun 2003, 14:38, archived)
# if it's wiggly lines you're after
(and you're in tattyshop), I just got some passable results drawing some thick black lines across an image, then using the Distort->Wave filter on 'em...

Yes, I am avoiding doing proper work
