It doesn't yet
But in version 1.2 of the Digestinator (we're on 1.1 right now) we plan to have self-cleaning spasms. In 1.3 we're gonna get the controlling thingy to make amusing noises, one of which is a burp for the cleaning spasms. Most of it is licking and smacking noises though.

Oh, I have.
But for some reason the US and Chinese governments aren't bidding very high for it, maybe Digestinator 2.5 when it can actually get up and move and tunnel itself in again not to mention replace its own traps...
