# The DVD's are released
according to their production seasons, of which there was only 4.
However Fox being the twunts that they are (i hate them for also cancelling Family Guy) never showed them properly, and as such managed to show them in 5 seasons.

It should never have been cancelled so soon.

# It's an absolute crime.
(, Sun 31 Aug 2003, 8:09, archived)
# My three favourite shows
Futurama, Family Guy and Farscape (all of which began with F, strange that) got cancelled too early.
The bitch with farscape was they were already told that they'd been given their 5th season, then a few days before finishing shooting season 4, they get told "oh, we changed our minds, there's a get out clause in our contract"

# The ending was quite good though
...in a kind of difficult to top kind of way
(, Sun 31 Aug 2003, 8:14, archived)
# Aye
would of been nice if they could of finished the story how they had planned it to be finished anyway.

# For some reason
when I go without sleep my posts end up being a lot longer than they normally would.
Also when I go without sleep I tend to get a bit hyper, being happier and more fluffy.
(, Sun 31 Aug 2003, 8:14, archived)
# well at least your being fluffy
however long posts are a bit of a problem due to the fact that a lot of poeple don't read the longer posts which reminds me of one time where i was at this forum and they said something and i can't really remember what what was with the tweenies who said 'let's make a tv show about some brightly coloured people with beaks' and why am i talking about tweenies anyway that's just silly and by the way your weapon of choice anim rules anyway i'm getting slightly extremely off topic i should be talking about long messages on b3ta like the one you just read.
(, Sun 31 Aug 2003, 8:17, archived)
# ha ha
(, Sun 31 Aug 2003, 8:18, archived)
# All good things
tend to get cancelled too early, because they're not formulaic stuff.
The networks are scared of trying to promote this different stuff and give it a chance up against all the other networks who will be showing tried and tested formulaic shows that will be guaranteed to pull in an audience.
(, Sun 31 Aug 2003, 8:10, archived)
# True.
Why show Futurama when you can have I'm a millionaire with a big brother, get me onto TV in a boring series'
(, Sun 31 Aug 2003, 8:13, archived)
# yeah it's a shame it works like that cause Futurama
was absolutely excellent, it was pretty surreal at times which was a good thing and I used to laugh all the way through. I think that's the problem, they don't want us to laugh anymore.
