if the backdrop didn't jerk so much it'd be alot smaller
also, try cutting the dimensions down a bit, 400x300 is a bit too wide for that one...

it's not very well optimised
the background moves every frame, you could shrink the dimensions to half what it is currently without loosing the effect.
I have no idea how you got it quite so big, it wouldn't fit on a floppy

you could crop it around the sides, also reduce the overall size by making it 25% smaller.

hmm
I've got an assignment I've been procratinating on so I can't be bugger making it smaller now. This would so much easier with flash or something, I'm working with about 3 shit image package to get the effect of 1 mediocre one!
