but we're client based so we tend to wind down for christmas. I'm not looking forward to when we re-start in january though...

Being at work since 8 sucks
especially when you gotta work Mon Tue and Wed this week. My boss says 'Bumhug to Christmas'

our head office in Wiltshire (other side of the country to us)
says we have to work till noon on wednesday.

My boss, our regional manager, has chosen to interpret this as being that we should come in, but not have meetings with clients, not have meetings of any sort, be physically in the office or maybe go to visit partner organisations, but mainly drink tea and coffee, and eat biscuits.
