Well
Supporting the Beijing olympics seems to me pretty much as bad as supporting the German olympics (if I'm right in thinking that this was a while before the nazis had invaded anywhere.)
But I don't expect or require soft drink manufacturers to know this.
Governments, now, that would be nice.

When Manchester went for the olympics
a LMR (or whatever that cockney station is) presenter said that it had a marginally worse human rights record than beijing. I think he may have been wrong.
