the thing that bothers me more
is that this is just what the game is. That's fine. The referee makes judgements, the game continues. I think it's a real shame that it ended up that way, but it's a tough game. People seem to be forgetting that.

Speaking theoretically, is it legal for one player to jump on a team-mate's back, to gain a height advantage? If so, I'm surprised this isn't a commonly-used tactic.
