use imageready, or flash (might need tidying up in imageready), or fireworks (I think). Oh, and Jasc Animation Shop, comes with psp3.

Q: Can I start a new thread without a picture?
A: Yes. But be considerate to other people using the board. And be interesting.

Are you using Gimp 2.0 on Windows 98? I read that 2.0 works better under XP or 2000. I have better luck with ver 1.2 and Win98.
There is also a line in the FAQ for version 2.0 that tells you how to install GTK so that it does not try to use the windows default font (or something like that)

found some icing down a crack in the floorboards. This icing was magical and I used it to fashion myself a life sized model of Christina Aguilera from house dust and Marmite. The first thing she asked when she was brought to life, the very first thing, was "What tool do u use to create animated gifs?". I tell you, I was furious. I screamed at the top of my voice. "No! You dirty, dirty girl. You do not ask me that!". I released the magical spell on her and she crumbled back into a heap on the floor of Marmite and dust.
