Personally
I tag my stuff so that someone can find my site if they like one of my images. Of course, I don't really believe it offers any protection of copyright. I am starting to wonder though if it might be worth putting © on images. I know it's easy enough to remove, but it would serve as a reminder of the fact that it's legally regarded as someone's copyrighted work. Maybe that would be enough to put off this sort of casual theft?
