That's what has always annoyed me.
I have a friend who needs some dental work done, urgently - but because she can't afford it, she is in a lot of pain.

the trick would be to take that part of your income which in this country would be taken away from you whether you like it or not and spent on the NHS, and put it into your private health insurance instead.
