Not really.
His first vote on returning to Parliament was for a bill that would prevent comedians (or indeed B3tans) making jokes about religion. Luckily, the bill was defeated. He's against the war in Iraq, and we like him for that, but he seems to be pro-Moslem rather than actually liberal.

Hmm..
I just saw him debating at our uni union, and he spent 20 minutes yelling at a bloke from the US state dept. He yapped about the whole King George thing but still. Came across as anti-american as Harold Pinter in his nobel speech, but less intelligent and more scottish.

But hey, he looked a bit upset when a bloke in the audience told him he 'had no morals'. And when everyone applauded at him being told to sit down whilst heckling. Shame Iain Duncan Smith didn't make a kitty joke (zoophiles/sadists or not)
