# i might as well ask while i'm here,

# it's a complicated matter, hold on....................
The problem lies with the multitude of browsers that people choose to use.
While some browsers have fancy new features that do this and that, and others have more stable bits and bobs, they should in theory all do the same thing with common utilities and things like fonts....
But Comic Sans is a weird anomally that steps outside this rule and crosses the boundaries and code of all browsers.
What happens is it looks shit.

# fair enough
that makes sense, thanks

# simply stated
because using it could summon the powers to be, with whom the crafter of comic sans made a pact in order to dominate the PC industry.
And this lands you straight to hell, with all other comic sans users (mostly boring teachers and vicars)

oh, and for this

# thats helpful

# I think the main problem with it (in my opinion at least)
is that it's never used how it's meant to be used. Teachers have handouts written entirely in comic sans, for example, when they should be using Ariel or something similar.

# It's used soley by vicars and teachers
when they want to give a formally jaunty impression.
