i have just downloaded GIMP
but... erm... I need to know how to learn it first. I am not a 'creatve' .

I personally hate the gimp with a passion, because the user interface looks like it was designed by the same people that think that GUI's are for wimps.

The only possible use I have for a graphics program is

- pictures of status quo, cocks Irwin etc

- Birthday cards for mummy

- fake sleb porn maybe

if you`re on windows have a look at photo plus
it`s a bit more similar to photoshop in its workings

the trick is to use lots of layers
then you can move bits of your picture around like pieces of paper on a collage

and save it out as a nice sexy JPG for lots of colours photographic stuff, or GIF for liney small number of colours cartoony stuff and try to stick within the filesize guidelines

i used to use it on the uni computers
get a hookie copy of photoshop it's FAR more intuitive
