I went to Iceland once. All cold desert and fish for dinner. Parliament run by corrupt sheep farmers. No alcohol. Lots of waterfalls. Sun shine in the middle of the night. Hot springs and cold skies. Rough volcanic mountains and fissures.
I fell over and hurt my knee.

We lost all our fuel and landed at a non-specific unpaved runway over near Eskifjordur.

I had a flight out of selfoss in a miniature plane. We landed on the westmann islands on a cross shaped pair of runways and narrowly missed a plane coming down the other runway.
