My cat (now deceased)
liked nothing better than gently patting spiders in the bath until they expired. Her gleeful and loud purring amplified by the reflective surfaces all around. Pat, pat, pat she went until the spider's demise, then it was off to sit hopefully next to her bowl again. Those were the days.
