my endearment with the phrase comes from some late-night irc session where some guy had just had accidental anal sex with his girlfriend and thought he was gay as a result. in a thoroughly batshit anger/denial/fear kind of way. apparently i made him vomit with the phrase "you know, it's polite to push in a woman's chair, not her stool"
