Pagan fertility
The hare - a noble beast - was a symbol of spring (hares boxing, etc). Over time he got reduced to a bunny.

Chocolate eggz came from somewhere Scandiwegian, prolly, but the eggs obviousy are another fertility symbol/sign of spring.

The Post Office is forever going on about money situations. Here's a thought: Your shops close mid day Saturday and don't open again until Monday and your thieving cunt employees stole my passport and original birth certificate! Maybe THAT's your problem?
