they've releasd Paint shop pro X which is very good and paint shop photo XI which is the same but profitable by changing the name.

11 has a load of new and impressive stuff
but it's a touch slower due to the new image handling stuff so I stick with 10

I found that
PCX's made in PSP X aren't true to form. They screw up when decoded in DirectX appps. GIMP works for them and the files are a touch smaller.

at times you use what you have to. Machines you find in pubs with the touchscreens don't have all that much grunt.

Besides just because they hardly see use anymore is no excuse to bugger them up.
