The next smug asshole I hear making an argument using a marketing slogan gets kicked in the cunt.

more blatantly cropped to fit the front page.

Nah that's just coincidence. It's way too crude for the front page.

It just looks like you've cropped away the right, or at least just didn't centre the text.

I am a PC user as I use it for office use. Macs vastly out shine PC when it come to audio and graphic functionality.
I think I've seen one studio with a PCs in it out of the hundreds I've been in.

I just wish they'd shut the hell up once in a while.

That's true. We have Macs at Uni and, ok on average perform better. But I don't see it as a fashion accessory.

coz, unlike you, I'm not a lurker.
Are you really that stupid to think that you would post stuff on here and not have people comment on it?
(, Mon 9 Apr 2007, 13:05, archived)
But you can hardly expect to post something on the messageboard and not have someone comment on it.

His only objection voiced was to people boasting about Macs as a lifestyle choice
I can't say I have an opinion on it, I just get the impression you've misinterpreted him

I can't see anywhere in his post where he's complaining about replies
And anyone replying to this post is soooo gayzor!!11one etc;

Why would I do that? I think you misread it and are backpedaling. Don't be afraid to ask for help with the long words.

so many annoyed people posting endless "Mac users are too smug" variants

Life would be extremely boring if we all did the same thing. Lets face it, B3ta is just a big bunch of nonconformists anyway.:)

When I do audio though I use a Mac. Protools is a bit jumpy on a PC. Primary system allocation on a PC goes to office documents and email etc. This is why a Mac is generally better for graphic/audio. They allocate to those instead.

and so far everything I've wanted to do has worked how I've wanted it to when using a Mac...
when using a PC though I haven't been so lucky, so I prefer to use a Mac =)

I'm fed up with evangelistic Mac users. No problem with the hardware per se, just the marketing bollocks that goes with it. A computer is a tool.

after 2 years and a fair bit of abuse. I liked it but will try something else now.

And I do abuse the hell out of it, but it's been absolutely brilliant. I managed to crack the screen about 8/9 months ago, but it still works absolutely fine.
I've heard all the stories about them, but personally I just can't complain
