weakly alcoholic drinks are generally best used as mixers for stronger ones
when alcopops were first popular, i found they complemented gin rather nicely

Pimms started out as mixers for other spirits...
There were originally 6 different ones, the most common is Pimms No1 which is gin based but there are still some bottles of No 6 which is vodka-based knocking about somewhere.
