i was trying to remember when we rented our first colour telly
i do know it was a while after anne's marriage to mark phillips,and it cost about £7 a month.

My mum's first Colour TV only got thrown out this year incredibly, I had to go and take it to the dump
she still had it working in her spare bedroom where she does the ironing, having bought it in the late seventies when I were a kid
