I have no idea how you set the frame rate of a gif

Anyone know? I use Flash for my imaging needs.

I use animation shop 3 after flash and you can set the gif speed at 0.3

I can't believe I just spent half an hour looking up the GIF specification and playing with a hex editor, but there it is...

I use microsoft gif animator

'cos it's free and I'm cheap.
But you can set the frame rate.
