I have heard that because they can now fake them to perfection with them computers
and because TV ads are notoriously fussy about the minute details, almost no major car advertiser bothers using the actual real car in the ad, even if it wasn't planned to be dancing with angels, but film the helicopter shot as a clean plate and add it in post, because it's simply easier.

I can believe it...
