I spent a very pleasant day in Cork
telling the resident alcoholics that Scotch was superior.

Even when they gave me Jamesons and teachers I pretended I preferred the Teachers (vile shit that it is) and I drank successively better Irish whisky and progressively worse Scotch throughout the whole day for free, purely on my ability to distinguish between the two.
