# Hahahahahahahahhaha
Oh how I want to email this to lots of cunts i've never had the displeasure of knowing, yet have to live amongst with their lethal tanks
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:09, archived)
# No word of a lie
There's a school at the bottom of my road and I've seen them load up their kids into their Chelsea Tractors and DRIVE about 10 doors down to the school and offload them again.
Makes my blood boil, it does.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:13, archived)
# wankers.
I think anyone that drives to school is a wanker. I send mine in a taxi.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:14, archived)
# I knew a couple of people who got a taxi from the train station to school.
To be fair it was a good 5 minute walk.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:16, archived)
# I used to walk a mile to school in the morning
only time I took motor transport was to go to high school, that was because it was in the closest town that was about 10 miles away.
And I only got picked up by child abusers 15 times. Small price to pay for my health.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:19, archived)
# Only 15?
Must have been an ugly child.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:21, archived)
# i used to ride my bike to school every morning
i was a little psychotic about it, i HAD to ride my bike, even in the snow. I felt naked without knowing my bike was waiting for me after school was out
(, Sat 19 Jan 2008, 21:13, archived)
# Taxi?
I use a limo.
(, Sat 19 Jan 2008, 17:23, archived)
# aww.
please come and ride in my Warrior little boy.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:14, archived)
# Oh gawd
he's off again.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:15, archived)
# haha.
real men are only judged by cubic capacity ;)

# My dad drives a 7.2 litre four by four
but he lives in Ontario in Canada, where the snow is like five foot deep at times

I don't have a problem with the 4x4, just in areas like Highgate in London, where you really have to be a complete cunt to drive one

given the motor industry has just spent twenty years making the saloon safer when it impacts humans, the fashion in 4x4 cars has just blown all this away
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:19, archived)
# I think my main problem with them is the 'aesthetically pleasing' metal bars you can get mounted on the front.
You know, just around head height for a child.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:22, archived)
# So what happens when I
hit a cow? You want me to die?
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:27, archived)
# They may have a purpose in the countryside,
but they have no place in a town or city.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:28, archived)
# But, and this is just an idea,
one has a car in order to move from the countryside into town, or vice versa.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:33, archived)
# I did consider that and hoped noone would notice.
My point still stands for people travelling purely within a city.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:34, archived)
# I'd have one of these
just to leave in my garage. It could keep my bikes company.

# Nice!
I want a 130 with a 110 estate body and a 20" pick-up.

I also cannot afford a pasty.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:37, archived)
# fair enough.
I live here. And to be honest I won't even take the beemer into london let alone a 4x4.

# Yep
4x4 country, rural roads at the very least are a bit wonky, I have experienced a ditch in Wales coming off a 750cc bike

But this issue really erks me; i'm not some environmental nutter, it just completely stuns me how selfish certain elements of middle-class society can be with their choice of urban vehicle. The school run? 4x4's basically kill kids forwards at least at 25mph, and yet they feel safer. Reeks of selfish wanker to me.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:33, archived)
# I like being up higher.
That said, I don't understand the school run at all.

On the few occasions that I have used the car (because I am either late coming back from somewhere or going straight to somewhere from school) I find it takes longer than walking because there are so many Chelsea tractors blocking the roads.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:35, archived)
# I have 'inappropriate vehicle choice' stickers placed on my Delica all the time.
It pisses me right off - it is an entirely appropriate vehicle choice for me.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:29, archived)
# its like the advert on the radio in Grand theft auto III
"I'm a soccer mum of three, so for those trips to the school I obviously need an all terrain vehicle capible of handling artic mountain terrain"
Or words to that effect
Most woo and true

# finally about to get my christmas bike
not looking forward to getting nearly killed by the fuckers in these gas guzzlers
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:14, archived)
# God yes
All the parents used to have these at school. Bastards

hippy trucks and not to be confused with sensible global warmers.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:26, archived)

I drive a Japanese 4X4.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:30, archived)

# hahahaha
The only time they are offroad is when they are parked up on the pavement outside the school!
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:21, archived)
# I would estimate that around 60% of my journeys involve travelling off road
being as I am heavily involved with conservation and cycle track building at Haldon Forest.

The last time I caught a blonde 17 year old putting a sticker on my car I made the fucking bitch cry.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:32, archived)
# I'm a cunt.
And even I don't drive a 4x4.
(, Thu 17 Jan 2008, 23:26, archived)
