# She was supposed to be a home birth
but it was a really long labour so we ended up going into hospital. Then baby's heart rate was dropping so they whipped her out right quick and off to special care to observe her overnight.

Both baby (Imogen) and mum are ok now, I've just spoken to her and I'm waiting for her to phone me back so I know whether I'm going in to visit them or bring them back home.

# c-section?
that's a standard 5 days in hospital i think.

and no driving for 6 weeks.

glad they are both ok.

was it going to be in one of those birthing pools?

# Nah
No C-section fortunately, just suction cup and a roomfull of people suddenly.

Nope. No birthing pool, just a TENS machine and a bit of gas and air, she coped like that for about 40 hours, I'm really proud of her.
