the first bit alone took 3 1/2 hours
it's definitely well over 2000 frames altogether and i estimate i spent a total of twelve hours on it (spanned over several days of course)

I was shooting with the photoshot function on my camcorder, and there's no way to make the aperture/color balance/focus stay constant. It really hurt a lot of my older stuff. If it looks constant it's simply due to whatever compression Youtube applied to it :-P
