the bloody soul patch area is irritating me cos i have to take my lip piercing out to shave it. its all about sideburns and stubble

I keep it trimmed into a vague shape these days, but there was a period when I was 18 when I didn't shave it for months.
It got to the point when the hair curled back round on itself and scraped against the skin when you tried to go to sleep. Felt like stuff was constantly crawling in your beard.

There's a picture of me as a commie with fairly adequate facial obscurement around somewhere though.
