you have a couple of options here,

1) ignore them , they are idiots
2) ambush them when they are alone, rape their arses hard and then say "who's gay now?" once you've spunked up their bumholes

I got my charizard to level 100 for the league.
And I borrowed my friend's Palkia.
So I was pretty much set :P
I trained up an Umbreon from level 1 to level 86 so far.
And I have a shiny one, too :D
