i'm always amazed by people who're saying
"it's terrible all these british people dying in afgahnistan!" well, yeah.... it is sad, and it really is, but they are being paid to be soldiers and its not as though they joined up without knowing the risks, is it? maybe i'm just being cynical but no-one drafted them
