I just can't get excited about Wall.E. There must be some fantastic premise that I'm just not understanding.

I have no doubt the visuals will be spectacular and Wall.E will be a sickeningly cute character but I've not heard anything about the story which makes me want to see it.

Same with Ratatouille.

even by Disney's standards. If you're in the mood for a slushy American version of how stories will be told I think Wall.E will probably be funny... and it covers the topic of what the Earth is like when the Humans have gone... but it will be a Disney film and so racist.
