The finale was shit

yes, the bits that were taken directly from the book were great
I even quite liked the alteration to the character played by Stephen Fry.

I'm not being a twatty "its not identical to the comic therefore its shit" person, I just found the film to be a shallow pile of wank compared to the storyline of the original.
