but it's a little over filesize, and it's a bit big on the screen.
A click for bigger would have worked nicely.
A kind word in the ear is the best way forward.

There's not 'fuck all wrong with it', but it's not worth getting bitchy about either.
Just a pleasant and friendly word that it's preffered if it's a little smaller and preffereably under the filesize is all that was needed.
Some of us here are on a capped amount of bandwith and every little bit helps.

As far as pixel size goes there is no real limit, but you will rarely need to make your image larger than 400 pixels wide. To be put on the frontpage, your image needs to be no wider than 280 pixels.

that it's alright in the rare occasion you need to post an image larger than 400px, say of a modified screenshot?

Well it's mainly common sense that it'd be nice if it fits on an 800x600 screen (I think it may just about as it is now, but it's fairly close).
Dyslexia gets away with it for being persistant, it would seem.

It's not me, no. However, I am a web developer and I'm still astonished to see how many people are viewing the web on 800x600 res.

I don't know how to do that, otherwise I WOULD. Can a mod help out here?
