# haha
the cheese in that voice had me in stitches, but it was balanced by my anger at the blatant war on terror shit that they were trying to ram down my throat. To sum up, pile of propagandist shite with a silly-voiced batman and some enjoyable relief whenever Ledger was on screen.

Edit: Also, Commissioner Gordon was infuriatingly not Irish at all.

# You can sort of see why he'd do it though
to retain his anonymity. I think it was a bit much, but I can see the logic.

Yes, Ledger was enjoyable. Very enjoyable. Mmmmmmmmmm, madman. Especially when he shouts.

It's actually ciggy time, I must stop being distracted.

# I know
but he's a fucking superhero, he doesn't have to disguise his voice! The costume was enough for Adam West and the spectacles were enough for Christopher Reeve, so I don't see why Bale has to have a big silly gruff voice.

If anything, being Batman, he should have a painfully high voice.

# I liked the idea alot
One more veil of secrecy to make it more plausible Batman's secret identity could actually remain so...it just sounded really fucking stupid. It was too difficult to forget it/concentrate on what was being said, it needed toning down really if they wanted to use it.

Also, Heath Ledger made me feel very wrong. Mmmm.

# I'm so glad someone else found this
Moistmaking in the extreme.

# yes
I found that I always missed the first couple of sentences of what ever his throat was trying to say until I'd tuned into the bizarreness.

# Hmmm Heath Ledger
dressed as a nurse made me want to touch myself in the cinema, but we had kids with us, so I made the wife touch me there instead!
