Obviously I'm paraphrasing, but still. Killing an animal and using it for it's products (meat for food, leather for clothing etc) is something that's happened since the dawn of time and is something I have less of a problem with as at least the animal hasn't just died because of sport or because someone thinks it's funny. Leaving an animal in a glass to starve to death for no reason other than for your own amusement is very different, in my eyes.
