I was a fan of the comics.
The cartoon/movie never really did it for me.

I had the first 130-odd comics myself
until my mum gave them to a younger kid who lived around the corner from us. I was 10 at the time. And a bit devastated too.

Especially 20 years later when I saw the eBay prices :p
