# ppft.
That is clearly wrong. I've been with C&W/NTL/Virgin for donkey's years and it's never been a problem.

I got the whole of Dexter series 2 in under 2 hours.

# I've had years of NTL
haters and it does my head in. I'm the one sat here with 20MB cable meaning whenever I want to watch a TV show I start it, go make a brew then sit down to watch it. Nowt wrong with Virginmdeia ( who are still NTL, they just bought the rights to the virgin media name )

with torrents. Your ISP might throttle the ports that are associated with torrents so you need to use a client that you can change the port. You need to ensure that the client, and the ports are having no issues with the firewall and ten you need to ensure that the ports you use are forwarded to the router.
Then you have to look at the torrent, how many seeders to leechers, then you have to hope that you get connected to the few that have a decent upload speed. You are only ever as fast as the people you are connected to.
There are individual client settings to make things faster but we could be here all day.

# I didn't say there was anything wrong with them.
Look, I don't understand half of what you just said, I'll go and find an online tutorial or something. Sorry to have poked the cage.
