I have two cgi filters, and they both suffer greatly from the 99% of stuff sucks.
Live for the 1%, and let the people give it a shot. It's much more interesting, and when someone gets a winner, the post it.
I don't want this to be named after me, but the first five submissions will include a goatse. I have no idea why.

Those are a hand done gag. That said, there is a few papers
and code out there that might be able to get close. Some of
the work on panorama stitching and multi image alignment
could be applied, but it'd be a very CPU intensive operation.
BTW: Keep pounding on those filter ideas. They are interesting.
