how do you steal frames from flash ive got a goood one i want to adapt
(
BigBobbyh, Fri 5 Mar 2004, 22:39,

If the creator
hasn't protected the swf file, you can import it into Flash.
Otherwise, I utilise a stop, print screen, paste into photoshop, start, stop, print screen type of frame grab method.
Time consuming, but it's OK for short sequences.

Mystery_Bob, Fri 5 Mar 2004, 22:41,

i dont have a flash editor do i need one
to do this
which one should i "buy"
(
BigBobbyh, Fri 5 Mar 2004, 22:42,

If you want to do flash stuff
then you would be better of 'buying' Macromedia Flash itself probably.
Most flash stuff on the web has been protected though, so you probably won't be able to mess about with it.
(
Mystery_Bob, Fri 5 Mar 2004, 22:46,
archived)
you can export files from flash and convert them
into a gif, i think. i'm too drunk to remember exactly how, but i know it can be done. they come out at a stupidly high file size (we tried it on the flash monkey-kitten on 200% and it was about 600k), but you can always get rid of excess frames.
(
100% of Gibbon, Fri 5 Mar 2004, 22:42,

you can do it
from the normal export option, but if the swf file has been protected you will not be able to import it into flash in the first place.

Q. How do I rule the world
A. Various options, we recomend either bombing a country with an infamous dictator, using WTC pictures to get more votes, using lower countries, especially those with a history of power that they are unable to maintain, to use as a 'backup' and mop up after you, or all three.
