# I just had to get it out of my head, I don't care , it had to be escaped.

(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 17:08, archived)
# Ceiling cat is watching everyone within a twenty mile radius masturbate
Just before I left work today, a colleague was talking about how she'd like a male colleague of ours to come on her face. I'm not normally bothered by that sort of thing, but I feel really disgusted. It was really unpleasant. I think it's because she has yukky table manners, and that's all I can think about when I imagine her doing anything.
(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 17:18, archived)
# People's standards of behaviour very much depend on context.
For all you know she might be very refined and civilised when having her face spunked on. Perhaps she uses a napkin, and cutlery.
(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 17:23, archived)
# I dunno, I once saw her eat a pot of yoghurt with her fingers because she couldn't be bothered to get a spoon
I think the imagery is just all merging in my head

# She sounds like one classy lady
(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 17:33, archived)
# To be fair, she only used the finger for the last little bit
Most of it she sucked out through a hole she made in the lid. Which took me aback. I mean, is it as disgusting as talking with your mouth full? No, but it's certainly more weird.
(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 17:53, archived)
# I understand face-spunking in a porn context
but not in a real-life context. That is, like a lot of stuff in porn, it seems more fun to watch than to do.
(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 23:38, archived)
# indeed, having someone come on your face while the other diners are enjoying some particularly runny brie and port just isn't proper etiquette
Indeed it could put a chap off his particularly mustard smeared rich spicy pork sausage.

And then she'd probably just reach straight for the napkins without even asking first.

I concur with your assessment, it's just not right, I don't know what the lady was doing at finishing school but clearly it necessitated the use of a snorkel.
(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 17:24, archived)
# my level of disgust would have to be based on how hot she was and what kind of mental picture could be formed
however, from your current description she sounds like a right slag.

# Image Challenge Vote
This week's challenge vote is on the launchpad. Your countdown includes:

* The Judge Dredd movie is on its way, so photoshop Mega-City One's finest

* Louise Mensch has launched an alternative to Twitter. What other celebrities should launch websites, and what would they look like?

* Fuck about with comic covers - See www.b3ta.com/board/10790856

* Animal Art: Everyone loves helicopter cat. Damian Hirst's shark is a modern classic. Show us how all art would be better if it featured an animal.

And here's the vote:

With a bit of practice, you could drift around corners, between trees and down alleys with pinpoint precision. Even after crazy overtime working to ship the $%^&ing thing, simply driving around was good fun. Some of the missions, on the other hand, were ridiculous. We told Martin that the first and final missions were completely out to lunch in terms of difficulty, but he wouldn't have any of it....
(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 14:15, archived)
# Yeah, there was one mission in Cuba in the second one that I never finished
it was do damned difficult. Now I come to think of it, I never finished the first one either. I just used to put some David Axelrod or Lalo Schifrin on the stereo and drive around.

I was pretty good at drifting, I could slot the car down some narrow roads barring occasional shunts and broadsides when other traffic got in the way. I think that was the most frustrating thing, but part of the fun as well.
(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 14:20, archived)

# It was stupid difficult for a first mission.
But once you knew what to do, it was easy. There were some silly things, like one of the items on the check-list was easy if you reversed full speed then hit the handbrake (or something like that), but nigh-on impossible otherwise.
(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 18:39, archived)

I loved how insanely difficult it was. Think I spent the most time on the movie maker in San Fran. Placing the camera at the bottom of a hill to catch me flying over the top.

# Everything I've seen so far...
...is gearing me up for MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT, just like last time.

I don't like the look of the uniforms, the vehicles or the Lawgiver. The limited amount of marketing makes me worry about the production itself and I'm not sure I'm all that keen on the cast or the story.

Why can't thay just do it, y'know, like, good for a change, eh?
(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 15:34, archived)
# I like the uniform and the Lawgiver.
It's a bit like when different artists draw the strip, some of them emphasise the knee / elbow pads, Colin McNeil and Mike McMahon used to draw MAHOOSIVE kneepads, but in the original Ezquerra strips they weren't that big. (I'm just reading volume 1 of the collected stories, see).

The lawmaster shown in pre-production stills looks shit, mind and I don't like how they've used contemporary vehicles for the chase at the start. Still, it's been made on a much smaller budget than a Hollywood movie, so I'm prepared to overlook that if they get the characters right.
(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 15:49, archived)
# A distinct lack of money has caused most of the shortfalls you mention.
As for their marketing - I don't think they have any budget left to sell the film, so they're relying on fans to hype themselves, (and others), over every occasional photo/tidbit which does see the light of day.
And the trailer was probably delayed to avoid it getting lost in a very comic book flavoured Summer and/or because it shares a similar premise to 'The Raid'.

# To be honest if that's not safe for work with a big censor bar across the middle
then Wobbly Bloke's girls taking off bikini GIFs down below are also not safe for work, especially given that they have no censor bars. Frankly so are any pictures of scantily clad women.

Of course, if the censor bar wasn't there when he first posted this my point is moot and it would, indeed, be NSFW.
(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 10:12, archived)
# oh he's still posting that shit? lol
(, Wed 20 Jun 2012, 10:21, archived)
# Yes
Also, to clarify my position, I also think that the whole of B3ta is NSFW and any boss would be justified in being quite upset that you were on it during worktime - which many of us obviously are. But if we focus on things that "could look like porn from a distance" then girls taking their bikini tops off probably passes as that at least as much as the Queen with her knockers out.

# ^ & eye of the beholder, mayhaps

# haha
yes, much of b3ta is nsfw. i think the common view is probably that if it's a cartoon it's not porn, although i don't believe anyone who runs b3ta can have failed to see a distressing amount of cartoon porn online

definitely eye of the beholder, really. i take the view that tits and cocks are porn, and i've had this picture called both nsfw and totally sfw: www2.b3ta.com/host/creative/43351/1174580664.jpg

in hindsight, probably nsfw
