6 yr old girls have the best opinions on most things
I was on the bus a few weeks ago when England were playing one of their first games, and behind me there was a bloke with a girl of about that age. He was clearly a bit miffed at having to take his daughter somewhere when there was a match on, and was hoping to get back quickly before he missed too much. His daughter asked him why he liked football so much, and after trying to explain in rather vague and meaningless terms about it being England and cheering on your team there was a slight pause, after which the girl said "But... it doesn't really matter, does it daddy?"

I will undoubtedly find a use for this: Much of the conversation in the office this morning seems to revolve around the lacksadaisical performance of the very wealthy men who failed this weekend.
On Sunday, whilst the rich English men were being out-performed by the rich Italian men, I was dancing with some pretty young ladies in a church hall with free tea and cake. I bet I had a nicer time.
