Kicked this off at lunchtime, got distracted for 2 1/2 hours, came back and lashed it together.
The Mighty Blessed says “I think they need to re-examine his surname – ‘Who’ is very oriental. It’s about time they had an Asian actor as the Doctor. And a female one.”
Therefore, Doctor Hu.

That was either some top-notch research or amazing luck.

I can haz publisher?
After a couple of months of plotting, Popbitch now has the dubious honour of publishing my vile little cartoons. In addition to the single-frame horrors, there will be a few specials such as this one... the catch is that you need to buy the magazine (£1.49 for iOS and Android). Issue 4 is out now with the first of my muck in it. Including the below, which celebrates Tove Jansson's centenary in a way that she would doubtless support.
Rest assured, there will be plenty that's even too tasteless for Popbitch, so those will go up here and on my site. There are all those Twitterbook things as well. You'll find it all at www.badhorsey.net
And yes, yes, I am today a self-promoting hamtoucher. What of it?

It makes more sense when you see the other three panels of the strip
It's my shit attempt at building a sense of anticipation.

Summer holidays rob everyone of time and energy

in what way?
we've considered running two image challenges a week for a while to perk things up a bit.
Or did you not realise I was setting up the image challenges?

the summer holidays bit was shite
It's the entire ethos of /board over the last couple of years that has robbed people of the time and energy to post. Or rather, other more fulfilling, humourous past-times have robbed people of the motivation to post on b3ta. The summer holidays have nothing to do with it, the same patterns were apparent during school term-time. People rarely post just for b3ta now, so /board is incredibly slow until someone has a website or a cafepress to spam. You might reject this, pointing to certain posts that are not spamcuntery, but these would be representative of an ever-decreasing minority, rather than proving that /board is still great.

I'm not saying the Summer holidays are the reason for the slow decline from 2008 onward

nobody loves the extreme shitters at the top
accepting apartheidesque policies for decades is what created a fanatical opposition - surprise!
One random fact about the militant shitters/freedom fighters/whatever of Hamas does not change the reason they're there at the top.
Note that I assume hamas are the scum of the earth and that this goes for any militant bit on the opposing side too.

the "combat manual" may say that
but the UN stated there is no evidence of human shields being used
You're missing the point again though, we're not pro Hamas, we're anti blowing the fuck out of innocent people, especially children playing on beaches and stuff

Yes, let's talk about human shields.
How about these photos of the IDF using Palestinian children as actual human shields?
Reminds me of the way European settlers claimed Native Americans were savages for scalping,
when it was the Europeans who introduced the practice as a way of paying bounty on dead Indians.
Israel is just another western colony, using colonial tactics against a native population.
