Made this Ku Klux Flan for a friend's birthday a couple of months ago ...

... though it isn't *technically* a flan: more of a white chocolate mousse atop a dark chocolate one, with: a wafer cross; strawberries and caramelised orange/lemon peel to represent fire; and rather misshapen white chocolate and basil (such a great combination) Klansmen truffles.
Must also credit my housemate Will for the splendid Confederate flag ;) ...

It is a collection of mistakes piled together.

Chess Cake

Another example of the Pinguino family's cooking.
This time it's a solo project by Mrs Pinguino for Mr Pinguino's birthday (Mr Pinguino has a slight obsession with chess).

Penguin Cake
A little thing the Pinguino family cooked up around Xmas time.
Made of 90% icing, with a little bit of cake hidden somewhere in the centre.

Eggs Benedick

No photoshop--I cook brunch every Sunday at my restaurant, and this is the result of an errant air bubble in a poached egg!
