Beasts of War (This challenge is now closed)
Dogs, horses and pigeons are all well known for being used in wars to patrol borders, carry soldiers and pass on messages. Show us the lesser known animals that have been put to use in the art of war. Challenge suggested by ferret.

It's a free country, of course you can!
of course you can!One of my most liked posts on this site was a suggestion that we rerun every challenge except with instant permabans for Star Wars pictures.
That probably says more about how unliked my pictures are rather than B3ta's general hatred of Star Wars pictures but there we are.
Edit: Oops forgot my bird-headed solider in this post. This one's one of my favourites the Vulture that Shook the Barley.

I don't mind Star Wars done well
which is more than George Lucas has ever done! Hahahaha. Seriously though seriously. I'm here all week.
Also reposting a swathe of bird-headed soldiers in every reply. I'm just a whore really.

I know it's a Gibbon and not a Baboon but in times of war you can't be picky!
