Cakes of War IV : The Fruitcake Ram
In 1286, an accident in the kitchens of Brûlé Castle, Normandy, discovered that overbaked fruitcake developed remarkable durability and density. Further developments by siege engineers included the "Dundee Cake of Doom" and the "Stale Icing and Almonds" armour-piercing modifications. This device was rendered obsolete by the introduction of the Scone Cannon.

The Swedish "PanzerKnäckebröd"
Following WW2, the Swedish Army acquired schematics for the German "Hafthohlladung" anti-tank grenade and developed the PanzerKnäckebröd, a device designed to explosively sprinkle cracker crumbs in the enemy's bed, thus ensuring he/she would be unable to get a good night's sleep.
